Call for Submissions - Connect Magazine: Celebrating the 100th Anniversary of the International Women’s Day

Publishers are now accepting submissions in the form of articles/case studies for a special edition of “connect” a women’s magazine designed to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the international Women’s day and will be published in November 2011 in the UK. Thereafter, the magazine which will be inter-disciplinary in nature will be published quarterly and circulated among a wide range of readers.

The aim is to establish a dialogue between academics, practitioners, feminist activists working on women’s issues nationally and internationally.

Articles/case studies can explore any of the following area but not limited to:

* Women and development
* Women, social movements and struggles
* Women, democracy and governance
* Women and human security
* Case studies on how women are making a change

Original submission in the length of 3 to 4, A4 pages should be emailed to tomorrowtogether@ymail.com and should include:

Abstract of maximum 200 words, author contact details, biographical information and institutional affiliation.

Submissions will be accepted until 15th September 2011. Acceptance of submission will be announced by 25th September 2011.
