GENERAL SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

gangway is published quarterly (March, June, September and December) or as announced, and the deadlines for literary submissions are usually around a fortnight ahead of publication, except for news items, interviews, reviews and special features, which can be sent and updated anytime.

Most of today’s literature is still conceived in traditional ways, however, we encourage authors to take advantage of interactive possibilities of this media (illustrations, hyperlinks, JavaScript, Flash and so on).

Simply attach your document(s) as .rtf to your e-mail. AppleWorks and Microsoft Word .doc is OK, but save pre-2000 versions for the Macintosh. Newer versions work seamlessly with Windows PCs.

Please note that we do not accept material previously published online, as this would not make much sense in a global media. However, material first published in print is OK. We will cite the print publication details and expect in return on later publications of your work a citation like “First published online in gangway.net.”

With your submission you grant us the right of communication to the public on gangway.net, all other rights remain with you. For copyright details see disclaimer. Publication is royalty free, for gangway is a non-profit magazine, where we all work in an honorary capacity.
