Call for Papers: Womanhood, Masculinity, and the Family in African American Literature (SMCLA Conference, TX)

Womanhood, Masculinity, and the Family in African American Literature. This panel will explore masculinity, womanhood and the family in African American Literature, while these topics can be treated separately, they may also be treated together, providing a view of the family within African American texts that can illuminate familial and societal relationships.

250-500 word submissions must be received by March 15th. The SCMLA Conference will be held in San Antonio, TX November 8-10, 2012.
