Segullah Journal Poetry Contest (for Latter-Day Saint Women)

Post date: 25 July 2011
Deadline: 31 December 2011

We welcome unpublished poems as entries for our annual contest. Entries may address any subject in harmony with our mission statement. There is no length limit. Poets may submit multiple entries. Entrants must be female members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The winner of the previous year’s poetry contest is ineligible to enter. Members of the staff and their families are ineligible to enter.

Entries are judged by Segullah editors. The winner receives the Segullah Award for Excellence in Poetry ($100). The winning poem, any honorable mentions, and other contest entries selected for publication will be featured in our Fall/Winter issue. The judges reserve the right to withhold any award if no entries merit the ratings established.
