Eligibility: All students, including home schooled, are invited and encouraged to participate and may choose the subject of the writing.
Categories and Rules: Classifications are Grades 1-3; Grades 4-6; Grades 7-9; and Grades 10-12. Categories include short stories and poetry. The short story entries are limited to 2,000 words and poetry has a minimum length or 8 lines and maximum length of 50 lines.
Judging: Writings will be judged at the Local, District, and State levels by qualified judges with awards at each level.
