A day in the life of:
The AWW Digital Content Manager is passionate about all things lifestyle, celebrity and cooking! Be it the latest news from Australia’s biggest stars or the newest t triple-tested recipe our DCM has to keep our readers in the know.
Your average day will start with scanning the web for great stories to entertain the AWW audience and liaising with the site producer to set the editorial plan and secure promotion across the ninemsn network. As well as writing up engaging, informative articles you will be responsible for sourcing images, creating galleries as well as working with the video team to find clips to enhance your content. This role is fun, varied and ideal for a budding writer who is keen to start an exciting career world of online media.
The role is based 4 days at the ACP AWW magazine office and 1 day at ninemsn. This position requires an individual with great communication and social skills who will build a strong relationship with both parties.
Core tasks:
-Researching and writing stories, galleries and quizzes
-Daily liaising and problem solving with site Producer
- Daily liaising with key members of the magazine team to secure site pointers in mag
-Working with Producer to put together monthly editorial plan
-Working with Producer to write online page in the magazine
- Error-free and timely site updates
- Acting as key liaison between ACP magazine team and ninemsn Producer/Executive Producer
Key accountabilities:
- Keeping site homepages/section pages and content updated regularly
- Completing work to tight deadlines
- Open communication within the ACP magazine team and ninemsn Lifestyle team
- Working with AWW Producer to brainstorm ideas to ensure great content
- Input into the site traffic analysis for the site monthly report

The Lifestyle team is a fun, energetic and driven team of people who are passionate about the brands they manage. The team is made of Producers and Digital Content Managers who strive on a daily basis to make our sites the strongest in the online market space.
Skills, experience and behaviours:
- University degree qualification
- At least 1 year of experience in online/print journalism
- Strong writing skills
- Intermediate/Advanced computer literacy: familiarity with Photoshop a must
- Eagerness to learn and develop skills in online publishing
