About the Women of Cinematic Arts Film Festival

Dedicated to highlighting women both behind and in front of the camera, the Women of Cinematic Arts Film Festival will feature a program of short films by and/or about women, followed by a reception and a pre-release sneak preview of a feature length film by a prominent female filmmaker.

In order to submit your short film for consideration, you must follow these guidelines to determine your film's eligibility:

• the film must have been produced, directed, or written by a USC student or alumna
• the film must have had a woman in at least three (3) of the following roles: writer, director, producer, DP, editor, sound editor, or leading cast member
• the film must be under 20 minutes in length

Films that will be screened as part of First Look 2011 are NOT eligible to participate.

The filmmaker submitting to the WCA Film Festival must own all rights to the film, or rights must be owned by USC. Proof of rights clearance required.
