We are looking for a talented Web Editor who will take on the editorial lead for a big family-oriented portal which will be launching in early 2011 for one of our leading brand clients.
The ideal candidate will have:
• Proven experience covering kids and family focussed content
• Experience in writing for social media channels and interacting with other users
• A passion for the web
• Editorial experience such as writing and sub-editing as well as development of editorial schedule
• Creative and solid ideas for how to build and grow the portals content
• Basic HTML knowledge and experience in using Content Management Systems (e.g. WordPress)
• Experience in Photoshop
• Awareness of working to tight deadlines
This is a unique opportunity for an experienced Web-Editor to take charge and forge their own path for Australia’s new family portal.
The role is part-time (20 hrs per week) and based in our Surry Hills office. Partially working from your home office is a possibility.
Salary $30,000 – $35,000 per annum
