Job Opening: Style Editor for Endless.com (Amazon)

Endless.com is looking for a seasoned creative writer with demonstrated experience creating consistently high-quality, on brand fashion copy. The candidate must possess a passion for and knowledge of shoes and fashion retail.

Overview:

This role is a great opportunity to work with a dynamic team to grow the endless.com business and establish an authoritative brand voice while offering relevant fashion advice and guidance to our customers.

The ideal candidate:

* Has demonstrated success establishing and maintaining a consistent and identifiable brand voice that effectively communicates the brand positioning
* Loves thinking conceptually, working on original solutions, and collaborating with a passionate team
* Has demonstrated the ability to work closely with creative and business partners to establish a clear and differentiated brand positioning
* Starts with the customer in all his/her thinking, understanding that our copy and our voice is critical to creating a successful shopping experience and building a brand that resonates with customers.
* Can offer a fashion editorial POV and write compelling copy that offers the customer fashion guidance and understanding

Core responsibilities:

* Development of Brand Voice: The Copywriter will be a key member of the creative team that develops the look, feel and voice for endless.com. (S)he will be responsible for developing our brand voice, working with the creative team to establish how our core traits and personality manifest when we speak to our customers.
* Site Copy and Email Development: The Copywriter will work closely with the Merchandisers, Marketing Manager, and Art Director to concept seasonal stories and campaigns. (S)he will be responsible for all accompanying site copy, including store category pages, e-mails, seasonal or trend features, and promotions across endless.com. This may also include additional marketing vehicles including online display advertising, tv, direct mail, or print.
* Oversight and management of all copy related activities for endless.com, e.g. working with PR on press releases, copywriting for Sponsored Links.
* Active participation in continuous A/B testing around content and messaging to determine best marketing practices; incorporating learning and improving over time.

Basic Qualifications

* Previous fashion industry experience a must
* BA/BS required

Preferred Qualifications

* Outstanding writing skills- must be able to write clear and engaging content in a variety of contexts that extend to both online and offline marketing activities
* Ability to translate the Voice you develop into clear guidelines and a "toolkit" others can leverage.
* Creativity coupled with an ability to multitask, prioritize, meet deadlines, and thrive in a fast-paced environment; ability to own a project from start to finish
* The ability to think analytically and strategically about content-you should be comfortable measuring content performance in quantitative as well as qualitative forms, and able to apply key learning to the next project.
* Exemplary attention to detail; Possesses a keen editor’s eye
* Comfort with ambiguity and a strong bias for action; Able to work independently within a team environment
* Ability to work with people across multiple categories and functional areas, including technical teams
* An ability to learn our in-house tools quickly. Previous web authoring experience (XML or HTML) is a plus.
