A new site geared toward women, launching early 2011, is looking for a superstar Editor in Chief. The perfect candidate is someone who can lead and motivate a team, develop the brand voice, write and edit copy, has excellent relationships with key fashion and lifestyle brands, and can handle any and all traffic needs. This site is the latest endeavor from a global entertainment brand.
This position is extremely hands-on. We are seeking someone with at least 5-7 years of online experience, at least 4 of which are senior level managerial. You will be responsible for developing the site, creating and meeting traffic goals, packaging content, editing writers, and maintaining consistently excellent content on a daily basis. This position will also be the primary liaise with the business and advertising side of the company, and will be responsible for SEO enhancing content strategies.
The team is small but dedicated, and the perfect candidate is willing to grow with the site. We are looking for someone who wants to help shape a vision into reality.
