Journalism Intern Wanted for Idaho Women's Magazine (rate: $30-$50 per article)

As a magazine publisher of a Idaho women's magazine, I'm looking for amazing stories of amazing women. The freelance journalist will interview women of their own choosing and carve out the story. The finished articlewill include the story written in jovial and upbeat fashion, tips or lessons learned in bullet format, a short list of resources that you feel fit the story, and of course pictures! There will also be two - four short sound bite articles (25 words) that will introduce (compel readers) your article. Will be in print and online. There is no micro-managing. You will know the boundaries you can work in, submit your topics for stories and then run with it!

We will meet weekly, but open to using Skype if you are not local to the Boise area. Journalist will be disciplined, creative, work within timelines, and submit work ready for print.

Please submit three stories (real or created for this application), a resume, and a story written by you as if you interviewed yourself for the article.

Location: Idaho

Compensation: $30 - $50 per article accepted for print
