Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Proof read and edit submissions from both external and internal sources.
• Use content management system to update and publish content
• Plan and schedule content
• Select and utilize images to enhance article text
• Catalog articles
• Website quality assurance
• Increase community engagement
• Writing original content for site
• Engaging with our fans on Facebook, Twitter, Google+, etc.
• Constantly think of ideas on how to bring value to our audience
Requirements:
• Writing background with exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills
• Ability to write in various styles
• Detail oriented and good command for basic rules of English including punctuation, grammar, and spelling.
• Thorough understanding on scheduling and accountability of deadlines
• Basic photo editing skills
• Passion for beauty and fashion
• Strong organizational skills with the ability own projects and carry them through from beginning to end.
• Understanding of online communities
• Effective communicator with the ability to work with multiple team members.
This is a junior level position and a great opportunity to grow your career. Coming up with ideas and helping implement them is a must. This position also requires juggling of multiple tasks. We have an outgoing, fast paced, energized, team-oriented environment.
