We are currently seeking submissions for our zine (a small circulation publication) on the topic of vi0lence against women.
Examples of submissions include:
- Personal Stories
- Opinion Pieces
- Essays
- Articles
- Short Stories
- Illustrations
- Poetry
- Comics
- Any creative work that can be photocopied
Take Back the Night is a march and rally to address vi0lence against women. Submissions will be compiled into the zine, which will be edited by the event organizers, and distributed at Take Back the Night on September 23, 2011.
Submissions may be dropped off at the S3xual Assault Centre of Edmonton (Suite 205, 14964 121A Ave.) or emailed to publiced@sace.ab.ca. Please contact Meagan by email or by phone at 780 423-4102 for more information.
All people, regardless of age, gender, ability, etc., are encouraged to submit.
