JOB DESCRIPTION
- write 3 to 4 page-length front-of-book articles monthly, including “ways to save,” “ways to earn” and “inside scoop, ” etc.
- assist articles department with special projects as needed--including assignment of stories to outside writers, negotiating contracts and editing these pieces (as necessary).
- meet with and work with the art department to conceptualize layouts for assigned pieces.
REQUIRED SKILLS
Ability to conceptualize and write front-of-book articles. Good command of language.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
Two to five years of comparable experience at a consumer magazine.
