Poetry, experimental fiction, or flash fiction is not accepted.
GCP accepts only the best stories for the creation of emotobooks. Your writing should be hard hitting, heart thumping, and sweat inducing in just a few short pages. Put your characters in extreme situations and see what happens. Fill the reader’s five senses with your world and let them be carried away during the 30 to 60 minute experience.
EMOTOSERIAL SUBMISSIONS
GCP accepts novel-length work (65K+ words) and novella-length work (variable word count). Your story does not have to be serialized for submissions. If accepted, our editors will help you with the transformation.
1.We encourage you to experience already published emotobooks. You must first read the free How to Create Emotobooks handbook. Learn the story telling style & structure. Become aware of how the emotional representations fit into each story.
Note: If you do not have a presence on Twitter, Facebook, and Google+, you are not taking your career seriously and GCP is not interested. 200 followers are required on each.
2.Email a query letter in MS Word format (.doc).
Note: Only queries of completed works will be evaluated. If you’re still writing, do not submit.
3.In the body of the email, you must provide links to your profiles on Twitter, Facebook, and Google+. List how many followers you have on each.
4.Your query will be considered by the editor assigned to your genre and an appointed review board.
5.If your query is accepted, you will be asked to provide all installments of the EmotoSerial for further consideration.
Note: Please ensure submissions are double line-spaced with 1" margins, contain your name and the page number in the header, and have a title centered half-way down on the first page.
6.If accepted, your editor will be in touch to discuss the details of publishing. (Rejections will be emailed.)
