Habitat for Humanity's Women of Influence Essay Contest

Post date: 27 April 2012
Deadline: 13 May 2012

This year, we are lucky once again to be a part of Lowe’s Women Build Week. Women Build is a week long initiative, May 5th- May 13th, empowering women on our build site to strengthen our community. In honor of this year’s Women Build Week, we are holding a Women of Influence Essay Contest.

To participate, please nominate a woman who has had a positive influence in your life. The possibilities are endless! To get your juices flowing you can write about your mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, friend, colleague, mentor, or that woman who always puts a smile on your face. We’d love to hear your stories! Please upload a photo of your nominated Woman to go along with the essay and keep essays no longer than 3 paragraphs.

Contest ends May 13th, 2012. Winner will receive a basket of Habitat gear (T-shirt, mug, stickers and more!) and a gift card. Winner and nominee (if local) will be honored on our construction site. Good Luck!
