The Web Quality Editor and Copywriter is the primary person responsible for writing clear, detailed, accurate, entertaining, and product specific copy for a wide assortment of women, children, baby, and scrapbook merchandise for our daily deal websites. This position will work in conjunction with staff members to maintain the content, look, feel, and branding of our daily steals. Plus: the ideal candidate will know the difference between there, their and they're!
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Responsible for overall content and experience of our daily deal websites.
• Write consistent copy from product information, adhering to our web copy standards while maintaining the voice of each of our websites.
• Communicate and convey product knowledge to enable customers to make informed purchases, while feeling entertained and joyful through the purchasing process.
• Manage day-to-day updates, adds and deletes of marketing content, including: product updates, sales positioning, and launch materials.
• Ensure consistency of sites with our brand, content, look, and feel.
• Work cross functionally within the company to ensure consistency of message across audiences.
• Works in conjunction with the merchandising team to assess the content request for quality.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
• Excellent written command of the English language and grammar with the ability to effectively write towards an audience of women and mothers. Superior proofreading skills.
• Strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills to work collaboratively with other staff members.
• Copywriting experience in consumer goods, baby or children products, or women-focused products preferred.
• E-Commerce and SEO friendly copywriting experience preferred. Must be able to grasp and understand website tonality.
• Computer proficient in Microsoft Office, Google applications, and internet savvy.
• Strong decision making skills, problem solving skills, and a strong entrepreneurial spirit.
• Ability to stay organized, efficient, and goal-driven amidst a fast-paced and ever-changing work environment.
• Have superb accurate, fact checking skills.

• Full-time, 40 hours per week. Starting salary DOE with full benefits.
