ALSO: Currently looking for female crafter to write a story about how she learned to do a craft (sewing, crocheting, knitting, what-ever) with her mother for our May edition which is a tribute to Mothers for Mother's Day. Send a short description (200-300 words) of the craft that your mother taught you, and tell how your mother inspired you to enjoy a lifetime of crafting, or taught you other life stories through the craft. Be creative, be sentimental, be funny--we want to inspire our readers to share their crafts with their daughters and grandchildren! If your story is accepted, you will be asked to submit a picture of the craft, along with simple instructions on how to do it (and perhaps a picture of you doing the craft with your mother, or your grandchildren) We will consider all creative and interesting ideas for a story~
Location: Arkansas and Tennessee
Compensation: $40 for accepted and published story with picture of craft
Telecommuting is ok.
