Call for Submissions - Mad Men, Women and Children: Gender and Generation in Mad Men (Collection of Essays)

We are seeking submissions for an essay collection on AMC’s Mad Men dealing specifically with gender and/or intergenerational identities. Topics can include, but are not limited to: the intersections of sexual, racial and gender identities; representations of childhood; women in the office and/or at home; early second-wave feminism; masculinity and femininity in the culture of advertising; and the relationship between gender or generation in the 1960s and the show’s contemporary revisioning of such issues.

Papers should be between 20-25 double-spaced pages, excluding notes. Papers should be formatted according to the most recent edition of the Chicago Manual of Style; use endnotes for in-text references.
