A third volume in the human/furry interaction anthology is planned. Several stories with dramatic romance themes between human and anthro characters were submitted for the second book, but did not make it in due to story limit and book size constraints. It was decided to use romance as a sub theme for the third book.
Submissions will be accepted from June 1st through July 17th, 2011. Decisions on final story line-up are scheduled for early August, with the book aimed for publication in the fall.
Stories can be of a wide range of genres: fantasy, sci-fi, historical, contemporary, etc. Interest is in stories which show interactions between characters, highlighting the differences between their cultures, societies and backgrounds, but also showing their interactions as characters. Submissions are sought with elements of both drama and romance, though slice-of-life and romantic-comedy stories will also be considered. Ratings for the stories can be general interest up to PG-13 or soft R. Stories in the range of 2,000 words to 10,000 words are requested, though shorter and even longer stories will be considered.

Stories accepted for the book stories will be paid at a rate of 1/4 cent per word for non-exclusive publishing rights.
