Writing Down Your Life Workshop for Women and Girls (Lancaster)

“Writing Down Your Life” is a writing workshop for women and girls, ages 12 and older, on Saturday, April 16 from 1 to 3:30 p.m. in the Community Room at Interiors, 3130 Columbia Avenue, Lancaster.

The workshop, an outreach project of the Women’s Expressions 2011 “friend raiser” for Lancaster General Health’s Women & Babies Hospital, will be conducted by Rita Golden Gelman. Ms. Gelman is a nationally acclaimed author of Tales of a Female Nomad and Female Nomad and Friend, in which she shares her journeys and lives she has touched along the way. She also written a number of children’s books including More Spaghetti, I Say.

There is no charge for the workshop, however, since space is limited, a $5.00 refundable deposit will be required. To register contact Lori Roscoe, Sr. Development Officer, Women & Babies Hospital, at 544-0073 or lroscoe2@lghealth.org.

Proceeds from Women’s Expressions 2011 benefits Women & Babies Hospital, integrative medicine for women fighting cancer, and the prenatal and newborn needs of the un- and under-insured.
