You clicked the link, so we know you can write children's books. Now, can you think outside of the box, and write non-linear children's books with multiple endings? You can? Excellent, read on.
We are looking for authors to contribute to our new Android app ZigZag Stories. This app is an e-reader which features multiple-path and multiple-ending stories for children of all ages. All writing is submitted online through our website, professionally edited, and published as part of an age-specific volume of four to six books. We plan to add to our growing collection of books every few weeks, and encourage authors to come up with ideas for series of books. After an "introductory period", you will be compensated on a monthly basis for every download of your book.
Many authors ask, "how many pages?" Since these are non-linear books, what we're looking for is a specific number of endings for each age group, and then an average number of pages in each path from beginning to end. A book written for 9-12 year olds, for example, is expected to have 6-8 endings and approximately 12 pages in each path, on average.
There is no long-term commitment to this program, and we merely license your work, which means you retain full ownership of your book(s). If you've been looking for a new medium on which to bring your characters to life, this is it! If you are a prolific writer, you could literally publish your work in as little as three weeks! Use our app to promote your other work and projects with a link from your bio page to your website, right from within the app (and eventually on our website.)
Serious authors only. This is a great opportunity, but only if you take full advantage of it. When responding, please submit a sample of your work and some information about yourself.
