• Write articles, news stories, product recall notices, and blog posts
• Track parenting news and trends, and publish daily news feed
• Edit and tag content in our content management system
• Fact-check and update content
• Assist with other content creation tasks as needed

Experience:

The ideal candidate will have:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• A talent for crafting snappy, clickable teaser copy
• A proven ability to create body copy that's easy to understand and that holds a reader's attention
• Experience creating content and tools for a consumer website, blog, app, or publication
• A deep interest in service journalism (particularly in the areas of parenting and women's and children's health)
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• The ability to multitask and deliver on deadline
• Some knowledge of HTML, SEO, web analytics, and social networks
• An understanding of content management systems and the ability to master BabyCenter's authoring tools and site architecture
