Travel Writing Workshop & Celebration for Travel Loving Females - In Celebration of International Women's Day. Workshop: Monday, February 28, 7-9 pm. This 2 hour workshop will be facilitated by CALYX Press Associate Editor Rebecca Olson. We will brainstorm topics, explore different styles of writing, do some writing exercises, and share tips for publishing your travel writing. Free, and open to women of all ages (women only, please). No prior writing experience is necessary. Travel includes international and local--we are excited to hear about all types of journeys. Non-English pieces are welcome. A celebration and open-mic showcase of women's travel writing will be held on March 7 at the same location.
