Essay Contest: Secret® would like to know How Does Girls on the Run® make you strong?
in 300 words or less and you could win $500 for you and $3,500 for your Girls on the Run® Council!

Secret® will award $500 to (5) girls and $3,500 to the corresponding (5) Girls on the Run® Councils indicated on the winning entries. Open only to girls who are residents of the 50 United States and Washington, DC, and who, as of 10/1/10, are registered participants in Girls on the Run® for the fall 2010 season and are enrolled in 3rd through 8th grade.
Five (5) Grand Prizes (3 per 3rd – 5th grade category and 2 per 6th – 8th grade category)
Your essay will be judged on the following criteria:
1. Originality & Creativity (50%)
2. Appropriateness of Essay to Theme (35%)
3. Inspirational Value of Essay (15%)
