Assistant Content Editor Needed by Coast (UK) Womenswear Website

Everything we do has that attention to detail, from our exclusive in-house designs and the fabric we use, to our inspired décor and sales assistants’ expertise. As such, this has made us one of the most successful occasionwear brands for women.

Due to expansion, we have an opportunity for a Web Content Assistant to join our successful team. In this role you will be:

•Responsible for updating all product-based content and information pages on the Coast transactional website, including daily liaison with internal and external teams (buying, merchandising, logistics, external ecommerce agencies and photographer) to ensure online merchandise reflects product offer.

•Social Media involvement under the direction of the Web Editor.

•To assist the Web Editor in uploading marketing content (visual/copy) on the website and implementing Emarketing campaigns.

•Responsible for uploading all product content (eg: images, copy, descriptions, prices etc) onto the Coast transactional website.

•Organizing weekly on-site product photo and video shoots and briefing all post-photography retouching requirements. Colour retouching where required.

•Uploading all marketing and visual content to the website (eg Collections, Internal ads, Style Updates) once approved by the Web Editor.

•Coordinating with Buying and Merchandising to ensure product is ready for upload on to back end of transactional website.

•Daily use and monitoring of Coast transactional website Content Management System (CMS) to ensure all product descriptions, prices and photography is correct and ‘ready for web’.

•Ensuring website is working correctly at all times and liaising with web developers when issues arise.

•Day-to-day liaising with web designers, ecommerce developers and studio team.

•Other duties, as specified by the Web Editor, in the interests of the business.

The ideal candidate will be qualified to a graduate level and experience within a retail environment.You will have a High degree of computer literacy in all Microsoft packages (Word, Excel, Outlook).
