Welcome to the Windmill Women Writers 2010 Contest #3

Here we go again with another contest. In this contest we asked that you write a 1000 word, or less, story about anything with the word Christmas in it. The story does not have to be about Christmas. AND, yes, men are welcome to enter.

Guidelines:

Category: General Fiction with a mystery twist

1000 Word Limit

Entry deadline postmarked no later than December 3, 2010

Entry fee: $10

$100 first prize
$50 second prize
$25 third prize

. Manuscript must be typed and double-spaced
. Staple all entries in the upper left hand corner
. Include your name, address, phone number, e-mail address, title of story and where you heard about the contest on the cover page only
. Do not put your name or any other form of identification on the manuscript
. Entries will not be returned without a SASE and sufficient postage
. Entry fee must accompany each entry
. Winners will be notified by e-mail on December10, 2010. Winners will also
be listed on our home page at: www.windmillwomenwriters.org
. Include a SASE if you want a list of winners
