We welcome written contributions from bloggers, citizen journalists and experts looking to promote their services and/or to increase their audience. We will accept well written contributions on any topic of interest to women and in particular: book reviews; advice for small business; career advice for women; recipes; and content related to health and lifestyle.
Please note we are not able to offer payment for stories or articles submitted by freelance journalists. However, freelance writers often find it useful to contribute an article or story to Australian Women Online for the purposes of promoting their services on the web, as all contributions published on the website include a brief biography and a text link to the author’s website.

Short Fiction: 1,000 – 3,000 words
Australian Women Online publishes short fiction on the website. We are looking for short stories that are well written and so engaging that the reader will want to continue reading to find out what happens next. We welcome all categories of popular fiction, including: contemporary romance, historical romance, mystery, crime, suspense, paranormal, science fiction, fantasy, chiclit and literary fiction. Stories do not have to contain romance however, your work must appeal to a predominantly female audience.
