The Rules
All scripts must be written by women. Scripts can be either features or shorts, of any length. First prize will be awarded to both formats. All Scripts must be written in English. Format should meet industry standards: 12-point Courier font, numbered pages, 3-hole punch paper, etc. All Scripts must include one title page with contact information and a 50-100 word synopsis. Contact information should not appear anywhere else on the script. Writers can enter more than one script; however each script must be accompanied by a separate entry form and entry fee. Scripts must be copyrighted with the Library of Congress or registered with the Writers Guild of America. Scripts will not be returned; it is the writer’s responsibility to retain an original copy.

The Prizes
A winner will be selected in both feature and short script formats. In addition to monetary prize ($250 short script; $500 feature script) both winners will receive an all access pass the Los Angeles Women’s International Film Festival in March 2012.
Fee Schedule
- Early Bird Deadline: Postmarked by August 5th $35.00
- Regular Deadline: Postmarked by September 2nd $50.00
- Late Deadline: Postmarked by October 28th $60.00
