Actively Seeking Chick Lit/ Women's Fiction Authors: Soul Mate Publishing

We are actively seeking authors who can tell an exciting story and aren’t afraid to venture into new territory. We encourage novels that are original and blur the genre lines. Soul Mate Publishing is a royalty-paying publisher currently accepting submissions for the following Romance Genres:

• Chick Lit
• Contemporary
• Erotica
• Fantasy
• Historical
• Inspirational
• Novellas
• Paranormal
• Sci-Fi/Futuristic
• Suspense/Thriller
• Time Travel
• Urban Fantasy
• Women’s Fiction

Remember, blending of genres is allowed and encouraged. Varying levels of sensuality are welcome, however all stories should have an upbeat ending. (NO depraved or illegal acts, bestiality, or pedophilia.)

How to submit:

* Send queries via e-mail to submissions@SoulMatePublishing.com.
* In the body of the query, be sure to include your contact information, the genre, a brief summary of your story, and any contest wins or publishing credits.
* Attach a synopsis and the first three chapters of your manuscript.

We use standard formatting as follows:

* Word (.doc) or Rich Text Format (.rtf) files only
* 1.5 line spacing
* 1 inch margins
* Times New Roman or Courier New, 12 point font
* Title and author’s name in upper left corner
* Page numbers in the upper right corner
* Title page including title, genre, word count, and all contact information

Length:

12,000 – 60,000 for novellas (Novellas are e-pub only, and will not be available in print)

61,000 – 90,000 words for novels (e-pub & print)
