The Stage 100 Awards: Call for Artists with Interest in Women and Poetry

Post date: 20 March 2012
Deadline: 23 March 2012

Are you an emerging artist with an interest in women, politics or poetry? Fancy developing one of your projects with The Stage 100 Awards’ 2011 London Theatre of the Year?

Bush Bounce is a unique chance to work closely with Sabrina Mahfouz, an IdeasTap member and Associate Artist at the Bush Theatre, to create and present a project that can be showcased at an intimate, inspiring evening at the Bush in May.

We welcome a range of projects by individuals or groups, so whether you’re a paper artist, guitarist, lighting designer, photographer, playwright or fashion designer, or part of a collaborative project that brings together multiple art forms, we want to hear from you.

Projects can be at any point of development – from an initial idea to a fully rehearsed or realised piece. Entrants must be IdeasTap members with active profiles, and projects must relate to at least one of the themes of women, politics or poetry. We encourage proposals with minimal costs attached.

Proposals will be evaluated by a panel of Bush Theatre artists. In addition to a free venue, the winner will receive mentoring, production and marketing support from Sabrina and the team at the Bush.

This brief closes at 5pm on Friday, 23 March 2012 and is open to IdeasTap members aged 16-30 of any discipline.
