Do you have zines, books, or literature that you want to advertise? Or an idea for a workshop? For the Birds Feminist Collective and Distro is now taking applications!
This summer, For The Birds Feminist Collective is hosting a series of events across New York City. One of these events, which they are currently in the process of organizing and reaching out to all of you wonderful people for, is a two part literary/women writers event in late August. The first part will be an evening of readings by women writers, with wine and snacks of course! The second part will be an afternoon of workshops and tables.
They're looking for people interested in tabling their zines, books or literature. They're also looking for people to come give workshops! Some ideas that have been tossed around include workshops on the following: zine making, grief writing, start your own writers group, publishing,
etc. Basically, anything that has to do with writing!
Please email them with all table and workshop proposals by July 31st. They'd love to have you come be a part of this event in any way possible!
