California Writers Collective members Charles Chatmon and Chandra Adams will present a free writers workshop, Saturday, June 11th at the AC Bilbrew Library.
The workshop will cover the following:
- How to get started as a fiction or non fiction writer while learning the techniques of writing a manuscript, what agents are looking for in a query letter and what steps should be taken to have a work copyrighted.
- Discovering the differences between Mainstream, Self, Subsidy, Print on Demand and other publishing options.
- For those already published or close to printing a book, marketing and promotional tips will be provided, including how to use an effective platform to further book sales.
Books and Workshop CD’s will be on sale.
