We’re looking for a Women’s Copywriter – a talented, team-oriented professional who can write lively, persuasive copy for multiple channels including our Women’s Catalog, Emails and Web site. As part of our team, you’ll:
• Write, edit and proofread all Women’s advertising channels including catalogs, Real Women editorial stories, emails, home pages, web product pages, retail signage and ads
• Review and cultivate customer testimonials; serve as “guardian” of brand “voice”
• Work closely with product managers to research and fully understand products and their unique features and benefits to be communicated
• Actively collaborate, concept and brainstorm with Women’s Art Director and other creative counterparts to meet rigid catalog and web deadlines
• Recruit, meet and interview “Real Women” story subjects and write catalog and web site editorial about their jobs/lives
Do You Have the Write Stuff?
We’re looking for 5+ years of commercial writing experience, preferably catalog and web; ability to write a high volume of copy quickly, clearly and well consistent with our Real Women brand personality and “voice”; comfort with a highly collaborative work environment; ability to manage multiple projects at once, self manage and meet deadlines; outstanding brainstorming/concepting skills; excellent proofreading skills; and ideally, web copywriting and SEO experience.
Must be proficient in Mac, InDesign, CS5 and MS Office software. The ideal candidate is also someone who shares our Real Women customers’ passion for hands-on work, the outdoors, gardening, DIY projects and more.
