A full-time reporter who can liaise with O, the Oprah Magazine Fashion and Beauty departments and then create compelling original online content for Oprah.com. Must pay rigorous attention to details and accuracy. Please include cover letter.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
· Keep abreast of fashion and beauty news of interest to our audience
· Conceive and write set number of beauty/fashion blog posts and articles per day/week
· Liaise with O Magazine’s fashion and beauty dept
· Create compelling and clickable display copy
· Manage multiple deadlines
· Creatively repurpose existing content for use in new ways
Required
· Three years in a fast-paced deadline driven media environment covering fashion/beauty
· Excellent writing skills; an individual voice that’s smart, accurate, authentic and not too earnest, not too cute
· Capable of generating ideas to repackage content and cover traditional topics in a new way
· Familiarity with SEO best practices a plus
