Writing for us is easy - pick your channel from the list below and then drop us an email with your idea to submissions@inthepowderroom.com. Make sure you put in the subject box which channel you would like to write for, and we promise we will get right back to you. Oh, and the really important bit - our ‘House Style' is honest and direct. In other words - don't be afraid to have an opinion. Life is too short to sit on the fence!
Our Channels:
Home Time - covers anything to do with homes and gardens: that includes your love for food, delight in decor and everything else you talk, bitch or dream about in pursuit of your own fluffy fairy-tale castle.
Beauty and Style - a place to focus on style (rather than fashion), for we are most certainly not fashionistas or slaves to the beauty industry at In the Powder Room, but we do still care a great deal about how we look.
MomsRock (MumsRock to you Brits!) - is just what it says on the tin, because we know parenting is much more than just a game of two halves - so how do you play it?
Our final channel is called Shit Happens - but don't let that put you off - this is for us to discuss everything else going on in your busy lives. It's about your life, and its challenges, those inspiring new pursuits you are busy discovering, or the mountains you have to climb. So whatever you are going through - if you want to share it, we want to hear it.
Our basic guidelines:
All Feature Articles need to be "snack-sized" - approximately 350-500 words and original and unpublished elsewhere (see Author License Agreement).

In the Powder Room pays £10/$15 for each Feature Article published on the site. Payment is via PayPal on a 2-week cycle from when your article is scheduled for publication.
