Are you a writer who’s familiar with the cultural aspects of getting married from pre-engagement to the wedding (and possibly after)?

Are you passionate and knowledgeable about weddings or the wedding industry?

We're looking for writers for a new wedding blog that focuses on mixed culture marriages, (different ethnicities and religions). We are looking for someone who has a unique, conversational way of writing that communicates facts without making them sound dry and bland. We need someone good at researching and compiling information into a concise post.

Later, if this works out well, we’d like someone genuinely interested in blogging about weddings (DIY, real weddings, inspiration, etc), that can come up with their own topics, perhaps about 2-3 times a week.

Job Requirements:

- Initially, be able to produce 4-5 300-500 word factual articles per week about each culture and their traditions. We’ll provide a list.
- You should be self-starter who can come up with topics and content based on general guidelines.
- Internet and research savvy; strong computer skills; strong familiarity with social media/networking sites
- Familiar with Microsoft Word
- Please send 2 similar writing samples and in cover letter explain why you think you would be a good fit for this position
- This is a telecommuting position, payment will be sent after approval of article through PayPal

Location: Los Angeles, CA

Compensation: $10 per article

Telecommuting is ok.
