Southern Cultures Quarterly Celebrates Women's History Month/ Call for Submissions

Post date: 25 March 2011
Southern Cultures, the peer-reviewed quarterly from UNC's Center for the Study of the American South, is celebrating Women's History Month with special featured content: Anne Firor-Scott's poignant commemoration of the life of Gertrude Weil. We've also updated our online archive dedicated to writings on Women & Gender.

Southern Cultures is available in print, online through Project Muse, and by downloading eBooks. Over 100,000 academic and lay readers, including students and scholars from more than 60 countries around the globe, have accessed our content online. To read our special featured content on Gertrude Weil and to access our updated online archive devoted to writings on Women & Gender, please visit: http://www.southerncultures.org/content/read/read_by_subject/women_and_gender/

We also would like to strongly encourage submissions from scholars of Women and Gender (and we pay our contributors). To read the current issue, view our submission guidelines, and find more information, please visit: www.SouthernCultures.org
