Seeking Essays from Women: Changes In Life Newsletter

Post date: 25 March 2011
ChangesInLife Newsletter seeking personal essays from women

Reading period: On-going

One undeniable, universal truth is that the only thing in life we can really count on is change. The purpose of the monthly ChangesInLife newsletter is to provide an opportunity for women to share their experiences of the multitude of changes that are occurring or have occurred in their lives and the impact these changes have had upon them through personal essays. Although all submissions will be considered, special attention will be given to new and unpublished authors. Each month will include the Editor’s Column: “What It Was, What It Is”, followed by essays that have been accepted for publication.

Submission Guidelines:

* previously unpublished work only
* word count of no less than 250 words, not to exceed 500 words
* sent as a word attachment with “newsletter submission” in the subject line to grampat8@comcast.net
* authors name, page number on each page
* contact information: name, email address, phone number, and word count along with a brief bio (not more than 50 words) on a separate page
* publisher has rights to the material until it is accepted/rejected; rights returned to the author after publication
