Carlsbad based Home & Garden company looking for a part time Web Content Writer. Journalism or a Journalist background with copy writing and/or feature article writing experience or plus. Part time and flexible hours make this an ideal position for a stay at home mom or dad that would like to work while the kids are in school.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate as part of an in-house marketing team, and help present concepts to our web users
in the field of on-site content and social networks, particularly blogs;
- Writing descriptions for products and product categories, as well as print collateral for products;
- Writing of help texts and FAQs;
- Work with marketing team to develop new online material relating to product releases;
- SEO content writing experience including keywords and anchor text;
- Proofread existing web content.
Qualifications and skills:
- Excellent writing skills for both B2B and B2C consumers;
- Knowledge of Internet related technologies and current web trends;
- Considerable organization skills as well as proficiency in written and oral communications;
- Must possess good prioritization, organization, and time management skills;
- Sample of work required;
- At least 1 year of writing experience.
