New dramatic web series is seeking female screenplay writers to join its writing team.
The show centers around a group of friends and associates living and working in NY. We are seeking female writers to help add to the voice of the series.
Applicants should be familiar with popular culture and trends in media, fashion, and the arts. We are looking for writers with an understanding of living/working/commuting from BK neighborhoods and the various cultural scenes of the area. Familiarity with NY (Brooklyn Vegan, Gotham, FreeWilliamsburg), fashion, and music blogs, as well as living or having lived in Brooklyn are also a plus.
The series will launch over the summer. Episodes will be approximately 2-3 minutes in length and will be on a weekly release schedule.
This is a small production so rates will be low. This show will be covered under WGAE new media contracts. Writing on the series will allow those on the writing team not currently guild members to join the Writer's Guild.
