About: Lester's Army is a literary magazine with the mission to connect the generations through writing, photography and illustration. Our magazines aims to connect youth with seniors through publishing the magazine collaboratively and sharing it with all generations.
We are looking for fiction, non-fiction, memoir and poetry for the next 2 issues:
Issue 5: Women Issue: For, by and about women. Ideas: grandmothers/granddaughters, sexuality, child rearing, feminism etc.
Issue 6: Music.
Topics we cover in every issue and are continuously accepting submissions for:
- War - Tell us your war story.
- Dating - Love and dating in the alter party of life.
- Death - Mortality, aging, how-to-guides etc.
- Family Bible - Family history told through the diaries of the departed.
- El Bordelo - Fashion, interior and exterior design, food, health, lifestyle.
Word count 600-2,000 words.
