Duties include but are not limited to editing and supervising the production of the entertainment and fashion and beauty sections of the magazine, proofreading pages before they go to press,
pitching stories about Spanish-language pop culture in the U.S. and dealing with publicists
on a daily basis.
Candidate should be able to work well under pressure and long hours during our closing cycles as part of a very dynamic senior management team. The AME also oversees the production of our best selling franchises —50 Most Beautiful, Sexiest Men, Best & Worst Dressed, Powerful Women, Premios People en Español— as well as specially-themed holiday issues.
Candidate must have a degree in Journalism or Communications and at least 5 years of experience in print.
