PeopleStyleWatch.com is the leading site for celebrity fashion, offering the latest in news, photos and insider access. With over 2.5 million monthly readers, the site highlights the best of shopping, fashion, beauty, makeover tools and breaking news.

Are you a celebrity news junkie? Do you get a thrill out of getting a juicy exclusive? Do you count down the minutes to the Oscars red carpet? The PeopleStyleWatch.com News Editor should have a love for all things celebrity and fashion—from who's wearing what on the red carpet to the hottest designer collaboration. A full rolodex of fashion contacts and an encyclopedic knowledge of stars is a must, as is prior experience with running social media. The person in this position should approach the subject with wit, enthusiasm and a down-to-earth sensibility.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

-Oversee and top-edit Style News Now
- Write, report and edit daily content for PeopleStyleWatch.com, including photo features and news items
-Pitch story ideas, deliver new content and monitor competitive web sites
-Develop relationships with publicists; seek out exclusives for the site
-Contribute style content to the rest of People.com, including Features Packages (including Red Carpet)
-Maintain and grow social media, including Twitter & Facebook

QUALIFICATIONS:

—Experience in writing and editing, including 3+ years working at a content-based web site or other fast-paced publication as a proven editorial contributor
—The ability to work under pressure on tight deadlines.
—Experience with SEO and Social Media, including Twitter and Facebook
—Proven ability to provide self-direction and take direction from directors.
—Experience working in a team environment
—Strong headline writing skills and top-editing
—Witty and fun writing style a must
—Experience working in a content management system is a plus
