Hopscotch House Retreat Program
Individual artists living in Kentucky and artist groups, allied groups and organizations who support KFW’s mission and comprise a majority of in-state residents may request time and space for retreats at Hopscotch House. For further information about individual and group retreats, please see:
Individual Artists: Day and Overnight Retreat Information >>
Group Retreats: Artist Groups and Allied Organizations >>
Individuals and groups who wish to use the house to advance their artistic development or social justice mission are encouraged to request priority scheduling through the regular Quarterly Retreat Request Process.
Priority scheduling for the Spring 2011 Quarter is now closed, but feminist social change artists, activists and allies may submit interim requests for any remaining available space between January 5 and March 31, 2011. Please note that Hopscotch House will be closed January 14-17 and February 18-21, so no retreats can be scheduled during those dates.
These interim requests can only be approved when space is available. Interim requests are considered for the current quarter on a first-come first served basis. Individual artists submitting requests will be assigned a private room, but should expect to share the house with other individuals. Groups can only be accommodated if the house is not being used during the time they wish to use the space.
