Dates: six Sundays from 16 January 2011 - 27 March 2011

Creative Writing Workshop

Our life is precious for its uniqueness. Telling our story takes courage. We must muse, play, remember, dream, create and most of all, listen to our own voice.

Join a group of women in a journey of self-discovery.

Six Sundays, 4:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Jan 16, Jan 30, Feb 20, Feb 27, Mar 13, Mar 27

Cost $50 - All proceeds benefitting the Circles of Women Scholarship Fund.
729 West 39th Street, Houston Texas 77018

What to expect: We will use prompts and creative exercises to weave, write and share our life stories. Each session will include a group and a take-home exercise. Participants may allow their stories to be combined in a workshop book or submitted for publication in the Circles of Women Newsletter. You must be able to operate a pencil, scissors and a glue stick.

The Facilitator: Marie-Pierre Stien is a writer, blogger and illustrator. She is currently writing in doublewind.com.
