This is an amazing opportunity for you to play a key part in the development of one of the UK’s leading brands online beauty proposition. We are looking for an experienced beauty writer – ideally with some online editorial experience, who can work in our small in-house editorial team based in Nottingham. You will have a passion for all things beauty and have a sound knowledge of the latest skin, hair, make-up trends and techniques.
What you will be doing
You will utilise all your editorial experience to:-
· Write beauty blogs and features
· Subbing and editing of all beauty editorial
· Managing and developing the junior writers
· Writing and supporting other forms of content including social media and video
What we want from you
You will have significant relevant technical experience of writing in the beauty industry at a senior level, along with extensive beauty industry contacts with experts and opinion formers.
You will bring with you a sound knowledge of hair and make up trends and the latest skincare developments, as well as Search Engine Optimisation(SEO).
The role requires flexibility to deliver at pace, with a passion and enthusiasm for managing people and developing their potential. Web/digital expertise would be ideal but not essential.
