We need a few articles written for our next print issue. This will be profile articles of various fashion/art/music industry people and socialites - scenesters and scene makers. We already have done photoshoots for these various people, and need someone to interview them + write articles on them within the next week. We love a strong personal story, with maybe a bit of dry humor. We can't be boring or too wikipedia-like. You would work from home, or interview people at their convenience by phone or any other place.
We will pay $50 for 2 pages (about 500 words) of narrative. Question-and-answer interview stories we will pay $25.
Additionally, we have a backlog of about 100 fashion shows that need reviews written for our website. We have fashion show notes given to us by our fashion editors, and they need to be copy-written and edited for suitable online presentation. These we will pay $15 each, about 1 page or 2 paragraphs.
Our magazine is ridiculously cutting edge and gaining industry influence, so be prepared to work with some awesome world-class people.
Please send some writing samples, and maybe your fashion/music/arts interests as well.
