The WSS Awards Committee requests nominations for the 2011 Career Achievement Award in Women’s Studies Librarianship. This award is sponsored by Greenwood Publishing Group. This year we expanded the scope of the sustained achievement to include archivists in addition to librarians. The submission deadline is January 6, 2011. More information including the selection criteria and nomination form is available at http://www.libr.org/wss/awards/career.html
Unfortunately, the Significant Achievement in Women’s Studies Librarianship award continues to be suspended. The Awards Committee and the Executive Board are working on the recruitment of a new sponsor.
