Calling All Women Writers and Bloggers With Big Dreams!
8 Women dream is looking for 2 female writers with big dreams to join 8 Women Dream for the 2011 year. Everyone from university students, stay-at-home-moms, to bloggers looking to expand their readership is encouraged to apply.
We’re looking for dreamers with a dream they would like to accomplish in a year, who enjoy writing and have a clear understanding of what is involved in writing for the Internet.
In exchange for being a part of 8 Women Dream, all participants will receive support and assistance in achieving their dream as well as the opportunity of being featured on 8 Women Dream by posting once a week as well the opportunity to post a bio and link on the 8 Women Dream blog team bio page.
Not only will dream bloggers build their online writing portfolio, but they will also have the opportunity to get on the inside track of a popular and growing blog on the Internet that will expand to a world-wide presence.

Wednesday experienced Dream Blogger
Must have a professional writing style and a set dream you are ready to achieve. The Wednesday Dream blogger is open to 8 Women Dream blogging and dream requirements. Ideally would love to see a fearless writer who is not afraid to write along the lines of Heather Armstrong or Penelope Trunk. Experience with writing for the Internet a plus. Must be fairly well-versed in a wide variety of Internet writing concepts including: SEO writing, social media engagement, editing, image prep, video blogging, pod-casting and link building. Dream does not have to be writing-related.
Beginning Dream Blogger
Must have at least 2 years of writing experience, and be willing to learn blogging and writing for the Internet. Must be open to learning and participating in a wide variety of Internet writing concepts including: SEO writing, social media engagement, editing, image prep, video blogging and link building. Dream does not have to be writing related. Posting spot is Sunday night 9:00pm PST.
Each blogger is expected to post one article per week for 52 weeks in their dream topic. Willingness to face fear and push through it are required in order to qualify as an effective dream blogger. All posts must be submitted to Catherine for copy editing 48 hours before posts go live. Bloggers will then be able to review their edited articles by no later than 10:00 p.m. the night before the post is to go live. Dream Bloggers will be required to attend a monthly conference call.
To apply, please submit a 3-paragraph statement about why you would like to be a part of the 8 Women Dream blogging team, a post writing sample, and two dream topic areas you would like cover to eightwomendream@yahoo.com.
Relatives and friends of current 8WD bloggers are excluded from applying, even though we love them.
Submissions are due by Friday December 3, 2010.
All entries will be reviewed the week of December 6 -10, 2010 and those selected will see a contract for review by December 13.
